Dissolving a marriage need not destroy the people involved |
Historically, the words “separation” and “divorce” have conjured images of abandonment, being “taken to the cleaners”, and losing free access to one’s children. Actually, however, it does not have to be a “win at all costs” process. Instead of an emotionally and financially draining battle in which a judge rules in ways which are unfavorable to one or both parties, the parties themselves can craft their own agreement, which creatively meets the needs of everyone. Domestic mediation is a private, informal, empowering, and cost-effective way to resolve your separation or divorce. Cooperative face-to-face problem solving allows for more detailed planning and more creative outcomes. |

Companies and employees both win when they mediate their disputes. |
Disputes and controversies in the workplace can be devastating to a business and to employees. A single employment dispute can deplete a company’s assets because of legal fees and a potential jury award. It can distract an effective management team and cause morale to plummet, affecting productivity. Often, when an employee makes a public claim they are ostracized or harassed, and risk loss of future employment and public humiliation, as details of disputes are aired in court. Likewise, companies are exposed to excessive and often undeserved bad press as a result of an employee complaint. Mediation is a confidential, quick, affordable and empowering way to resolve conflicts in which both sides can be heard and taken seriously. |
